A minivan involved in a fatal collision that claimed the life of a pedestrian in Erin Mills Tuesday morning made an unsafe left turn that caused the crash, according to an eyewitness.9 t7 i; `3 r: F5 p
Glenys Gunn, 64, of Mississauga, was driving westbound on Eglinton Ave. around 11:30 a.m. when she saw the maroon minivan turn left from eastbound Eglinton to northbound Erin Mills Pkwy., straight into the path of a silver Honda Civic going westbound on Eglinton Ave.0 C% ]$ A& a/ r- V
"The silver car had the green light, so it seems as though the (minivan) was at fault," she said. "The minivan basically went right into the driver's side and the (Civic) just shot up in the air and did almost a double flip and landed on its roof."
