' o. {3 B6 K0 }, [• Work closely with executives and management teams to assist providing guidance, champion projects and organizational development to foster and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
; a5 P: \& i# t3 q9 @ Provide support to the manager on the delivery of full spectrum of HR duties including, but are not limited to the following areas:
# M: `9 i$ Y+ O8 _4 U$ W; v• Performance management – Provide guidance and advice to line managers in performance management and taking disciplinary actions
# X" F+ p. |$ B7 ]9 R; G1 V0 q$ e• Maintain Policy Compliance – Assist the manager in ensuring relevant HR-related documentation are handled in compliant with the statutory legal and company requirements; provide advice and assistance to managers on the interpretation and administration of HR-related policies and programs! a3 F) G4 j0 H& P, l2 W- h
• Health & safety and disability management – Support WSIB Claims Management process, ensure incidents &/or accidents are handled timely to mitigate risk of penalty, partner closely with stores and the external Claim Consultant on the claim’s status.6 y8 Y9 X/ _( x3 b( ~ q. [
• Staff communications – Arrange, organize, and conduct independently staff forums on a regular basis to listen to their concerns, work with other departments to provide solutions and feedbacks& r3 d, W. M8 d* Z! L! X- L
• Compensation & benefits – Contribute ideas to, support and execute initiates related to payroll, group insurance and benefits plans launch by Head Office on a timely manner; P3 d. e: B5 b7 }
• Training & development – Actively involved in workshops and training to users based on their training needs6 z, g+ v1 l4 k) M; J
• Other HR project– Lead, participate and contribute to HR projects as assigned% x3 h3 @) E4 l

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
% z) M6 ^5 _% T8 [7 ]! o• Possess at least 1 to 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience.3 \, P% Z3 y- }) ]0 ?
• Possess familiarity with applicable labour legislation, health & safety legislation, human rights and worker's compensation policies and vast experience in handling employee/labour relations# @3 I& V# p W( M9 {7 i- t2 v4 \
• Business minded with good financial acumen & sound project management skills
2 } e5 |6 I x9 s4 N" {• Previous experience in a fast-paced business environment, preferably in the retail industry or supermarket chain store operations
3 O# t7 h: e( D" v ^& f0 f• Excellent interpersonal, and management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality: L& J# p, E9 h' g% u3 o1 ?9 \
• Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner% u* C/ Z" |3 Q" o3 ^
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
# Y5 }" R" t m: @• Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills; must be fluent in English and is able to understand, speak read, and type Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin).
