Parents who have not yet registered their children for school are being encouraged to do so next week.7 _8 U# L; s5 ^ e9 k
Parents of children who'll be attending kindergarten at the Peel District School Board in the fall can register children for school from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2 at their neighbourhood school. Parents of high school students who need to register their teens are asked to call the school for registration details.: w- M4 C/ y$ }$ `
Parents must provide proof of age, proof of address in Peel and the child’s immunization and education records. In some cases, immigration documents may be needed.

9 J2 ?* y( d! {& C6 m- O6 b% c, q, @• birth certificate, birth registration card or passport for proof of age
0 M- S( ~3 x/ R/ Y• purchase agreement, utility bills, bank statement or government-issued forms for proof of address% T9 }1 r. r* Q8 i: Q; J% p6 u+ k
• yellow card or record from last country of residence, or Peel health form for immunization proof
% b/ H. `! R. M" q9 x• citizenship documentation, permanent resident card, or record of landing (IMM5292) for immigration status

For general inquiries about immunization, the immunization schedule or to determine if a child’s record is up-to-date, parents can call Health Line Peel at 905-799-7700. An exemption form can be obtained if a child has not been immunized for medical reasons or because of a conflict of religion or conscience.% W. J5 N' e' h" l* u2 H! `7 h
